In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top maps and navigation apps in Kenya showed varied trends across downloads, active users, and revenue. Here's a detailed look at the top five applications.

Bolt: Request a Ride from Bolt Technology demonstrated a positive trend in weekly downloads, starting at 22.1K and peaking at 28.4K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated slightly, beginning the quarter at 1.06M and ending at a similar level of approximately 1.29M.

Phone Location Tracker saw a remarkable increase in downloads, skyrocketing from 350 at the start of the quarter to a peak of 27.7K in late February. Active users also grew significantly from 1.1K to 38.7K.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady course in downloads, with numbers climbing from 13.3K to 15.7K. The app's active users rose from 619.6K to 715.1K, showcasing a consistent user base.
